The Cutest Children's Books for Graduation
Children’s books are one of my favorite gifts to give any age! Below is a list of the best children’s books for graduates & my favorite excerpt from each one. (Makes such a cute addition to a cash envelope!)
One of my favorite graduation gift traditions is to choose a children’s book and have your kid’s teachers and coaches (secretly) write a message on the inside cover and/or pages before the end of every school year. When they graduate, they’ll have a letter from every teacher they’ve ever had!
(edited to add: some teachers have mentioned that this is super time consuming at the end of the year, so try and take the book to them anytime after winter break!)
It’s never too late in your kid’s life to start this tradition! (even if it’s coaches, grandparents, mentors, etc) I’ve included a * next to the books that this is perfect for!
*1. Oh, the Places You’ll Go: “Kid, you’ll move mountains”
2. Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know: “Whatever you do, wherever you go, I have a big dream I want you to know”
3. The Knowing Book: “You will be come upon delicious things and dark things, but all the paths you take will lead you to home.”
*4. Dear, Boy: “it’s ok if you don’t run the fastest, just be the boy who gives it your all”
*5. Dear, Girl: “Listen to your brave side”
6. Wherever You Go: “Roads bend. Detours head where you wouldn’t expect, showing you various ways to connect.”
7. I Wish You More: “I wish you more treasures than pockets”
8. The North Star: “Ask yourself where it is you want to go, and then follow the signs you already know.”
9. Sometimes You Fly: “Remember then with every try, sometimes you fall - sometimes you fly”
10. Curious You on Your Way: “You’ll find the spot where you most want to land. Oh what a place it will be!”

15. I Knew You Could: “I knew you could, and you knew it too. That you’d come out on top after all you’ve been through.” THIS IS MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE GRADUATION BOOK FOR ANY GRADE OR AGE.
