Airplane Must-Haves for Kids
1. Amazon Fire Tablet + Headphones: Most kids are completely entertained with a tablet + headphones! (or just headphones to watch a movie on the airplane tvs!) We love the Amazon fire tablet because it has the best case & an amazon+ kids subscription (and parental controls!)
2. Triangular Crayons: The only crayons you ever need on an airplane! These don’t roll AT ALL and are a MUST HAVE no matter the age! Love pairing these with a fun coloring book or even drawing pad.
3. Colorful Square Travel Bags: I love filling these bags with crayons, cords, gum, chapstick, etc & decorating them with these self adhesive patches on the flight!
4. Disney Nuimos: My favorite plush animals that double as a stuffy + a toy! They are posable, have magnetic hands, and heads that can turn + have so many fun outfits and accessories. I love including a fun toy in all of my daughter’s airplane bags, and this is a favorite whether we are going to Disney or not!
5. Clear Backpack: This backpack is a normal size (a little big for a toddler to carry) but we absolutely love it! I love that my daughter can see where all the contents are and there’s so many front/side/back pockets that it fits all the essentials! Currently 10% off when you clip the coupon!
6. Road Tape + Wooden Cars: We are BIG fans of road tape not only for plane rides but also for your hotel stay! And these wooden cars are so durable and fun. For younger kids, I love these cars!
7. Stanley Ice Flow Water Bottle: Did you know you can take ice through security and then fill it up at a water station! Our favorite hack! I love bringing these stickers to decorate water bottles and tablets! (also fun to have them in the theme of where you are headed!)
8. Memory Snack Tray: The ultimate snack tray. I’ve tried it all! THIS ONE CHANGES EVERYTHING! It has individual compartments, so you can turn it into a memory game! Or just a really fun/easy way to entertain a younger kid. It’s BPA-free food safe plastic AND dishwasher safe! I promise you’ll thank me later for this!
9. Sticker Books: I love books that take up a lot of time! Some favorites are this American Girl Book, Truck Book, Disney Book, or any of the tiny dover little sticker books!
10. Dot It Sticker Activity: This provides so much mess-free entertainment! Also love it to perfect fine motor skills. This takes a decent amount of time, so it’s great for the airplane!
11. Wikki Stix: I always bring these to dinner for screen-free fun, but these are amazing for airplanes! Just make sure you have a few different ideas/photos on your phone to make even more creations! (Pro tip, bring a plastic spork on the plane for your toy story lover to help create sporky!)
12. Wipe Clean Activity Book + Dry Erase Crayons: We love these reusable activity books! Find them for any age. And we especially love these DRY ERASE CRAYONS (yay for no lids) that work on them + any dry erase board!
