Road Trip Essentials for Kids
Kids Travel Tray: We have one of these for each of our kids! They are amazing for activities or eating in the car! They also have a ton of little pockets for toys and cup holders! My favorite is the dry erase feature these particular ones have!
Magnetic Travel Play Set: These are such a great activity in the car and the best part is that the pieces are not easily lost because they are magnetic!
Collapsable Snack Cup: These snack cups are my absolute favorite! They collapse down small when not in use and come with a lid for when there are leftover snacks inside. Anything that helps keep my car more mess free during a road trip is a win and the spill proof design on these helps so much!
Dramamine for Kids: With the amount of activities that kids do during a road trip to keep them from getting bored and sitting in the backseat the chances of them getting motion sickness is higher. Keeping this in your car will save you from a possible catastrophe!
Travel Scavenger Hunt Game: I love having extra activities in the car for extra long trips and this road trip scavenger hunt looks fun!
WikkiStix Fidget Toy: These are so much fun and totally mess free! They are a great activity to bring some creativity into a boring car ride and kept my daughter occupied for over an hour on our last road trip! Best part is, they are reusable!
Backseat Organizer: Keep all the kids activities and snacks organized and easily accessible to them so you aren’t having to rummage through a bag for their items with these awesome backseat organizers!
Magnetic Block Book: This magnetic block book looks so entertaining and comes with 360 different patterns and shapes that the blocks can be formed into! This is bound to keep your child entertained for a while!
Suction Organizer Caddy: This might seem so random but, hear me out! Grab these suction organizers to attach to the windows for your kids set their markers, crayons or snacks in. They can easily reach them and that way they aren’t dropping their items all over the floor from setting them on their lap or the seat!
Paint By Sticker Books: These are one of my daughters favorites activities and we love them for the car! There are so many different options!
Portable Potty: Whether you have a recently potty trained toddler or just any child that may have a harder time ‘holding it”, this portable potty is a life saver to have for road trips! It folds up nice and small and can be used with or without a bag on the side of the road!
Sketch and Doodle Board: This is one of our favorite items for the kids that honestly just always stays in our car. Our kids love having something to write and draw on and it requires no actuals pens or crayons which is a huge plus!
Water Wow Painting Pads: We love these mess free water paint pads by Melissa and Doug! All you have to do is add water and paint and they magically add color to the pages. My kids could play with these all day. And a mess free activity for long car rides is always a plus!
