Summer Fun Prime Picks
"What are we doing today?" My favorite question to be asked over and over again. We've got you covered this Summer with mine (and my kids) favorite ways to stay entertained...for hours. Most of these products can be used over and over again, for never ending fun.
1. Q&A a Day for Kids - My kids look forward to answering these questions each morning. It's a book I'll cherish forever. Tip: kids talk so fast and say the funniest things. I record this whole thing so that I can make sure to use their exact words.
2. 101 Cookie Cutter Set - Every number, letter and holiday cookie cutter you can think of. We've had this for years and use it over and over again. Use it to make cookies, with playdoh or the perfect "toy" to hand to your 8 month babe.
3. Popsicle Molds - Fill them with apple juice, chocolate milk or....Diet Coke. The options are endless.
4. Storybook Projector - Hands down, the funnest way to read together. It turns story time into something magical!
5. Elmer's Glue - All your slime dreams come true. I mix 1 cup of this + couple drops of the best food coloring + 1/2 tbsp of baking soda + 1 tbsp contact solution. Mix up and add a tad more contact solution (as needed) until not sticky. Guys, I swear by this slime. It entertains my kids for hours and is way cleaner than playdoh.
5. AquaDoodle - Mess free (yaasss!!) coloring, just add water!
7. Butterfly Garden - Watch caterpillars grow into butterflies. My kids LOVED this!
8. Gel Pens - The entire rainbow in gel pens. 100 total! My go-to present for birthdays.
9. Magformers - Magnetic building blocks that we play with at home, in the car and even bring on our vacations.
10. Water Table - If it's hot outside then you need this to keep kids entertained and cool.
11. Sticker Book - Use stickers to build your own animal faces.
12. Cooking Book - An age appropriate cooking book to create memories in your kitchen.
13. Water Balloons - Balloons that you can fill in seconds is always a good idea!
14. Construction Paper - Paper for all those crafts, drawings and countdown chains. If your kids are bored, colored paper + gel pens will always save the day!
